 This Mexico Riviera Maya beach villa is located on gorgeous Jade Bay  just moments from enchanting Akumal.  'Casa Magica' is nestled amid swaying palm trees, with a gorgeous blue Caribbean bay, ringed by a white sand beach, for a front yard.  This truly is a magical place.   (see Riviera Maya map)   (see Area map) 

Upon entering this 5,000 sq. ft. villa you will instantly feel a weight lift from your shoulders.  The warm earthen colors blend naturally with tones from the sky and sea to soothe you into instant submission.  The décor is a casual mix of old world charm accented with such things as pre-Columbian style statues, vases, figurines, and ceramic vessels, punctuated with all of the modern comforts one would expect.  Scattered thoughtfully throughout the villa, these accessories help define the villa as being so much more than just a beach house.

An open and spacious floor plan between the living, kitchen, and dining areas offer an easy flow of activity and conversation, while still offering plenty of private nooks to snuggle into. The elegant wicker sofas with an abundance of pillows create a cozy living room, while the two-story domed brick ceiling towering majestically above, further enhances the sense of space.  The fully equipped kitchen is extra large, open to the rest of the living space and sure to be a focal point for one of those impromptu 'kitchen parties.'  It is sure to please anyone who enjoys cooking.  You certainly should let the staff spoil you at least one evening with a traditional Mexican dinner served on the solid wood dining table that will sit 8 comfortably.

Almost without notice, the glass sliders of the living and dining areas draw you out to the covered patio and gorgeous swimming pool.  Deep blue and inviting, the pool is the perfect place to cool yourself, suntan on one of the ledges, or to simply enjoy each others' company.  Surrounding the pool is a luscious, lawn with small cement pathways, leading to individual sunning decks. A delightful wooden gazebo sits beside the pool providing some welcome shade to enjoy the ocean view.   This is sure to become the favored place for those afternoon sundowners.

The downstairs oceanfront master suite has large sliding glass doors leading out to a covered patio. This large suite has a king-sized bed, with large bath and oversized shower. Upstairs is a nearly identical suite offering a private covered oceanfront terrace, large bathroom with double sinks, an oversized shower and a Jacuzzi tub. The third bedroom also boasts an oceanfront view, while  offering a king-sized bed and private bathroom.   You will want to wake up early and step out onto your large, private, oceanfront terrace.  The fourth bedroom is equally large, offers two queen size beds and a private bathroom also.  This lovely room has a jungle view  through enormous panoramic windows and another private ocean view balcony.

As one of the newly developing beaches along this gorgeous Riviera Maya coast, Jade Bay is still a relatively well kept secret. Those who have found it and planted some roots, have done so with a thoughtfulness for the environment that is to be appreciated.  This beautiful bay still has gin clear waters, incredible corals, and colorful tropical fish life just waiting to be snorkeled amonst.  During the summer months, endangered sea turtles still return after countless years of tradition, to lay their eggs on the beaches of Jade Bay. If you are lucky, you will be blessed in witnessing the exquisite natural wonder of droves of baby turtles erupting from their nest in the sand and making their way back to the ocean where they came.  Doug: safely home after a lovely stay at Casa Magica.  Casa Magica was all the web site described and then some!  Plenty of space for three generations of one family to find down time and the two little boys Ben (7) & Henry (4) were totally taken by the beach, waves and pool. Not a cross word out of them for the entire week....now that's a success story!  Three of the group are avid divers and snorkelers so they were blissfully happy and the rest of us just enjoyed the bliss of doing nothing.
