Villa Pura Vida located in the PlayaCar Phase 1 subdivision of Playa del Carmen is not directly on the oceanfront, but still boasts a fabulous location.  Steps from a gorgeous white sand beach and a short stroll to the famous 5th Avenue and beaches of Playa del Carmen, makes villa Pura Vida a most desirable place to call home for a week or two.

The owners are willing to lock off one of the bedrooms and rent out as a 3 bedroom making this an ideal option for a smaller group preferring the privacy of a villa over a condo.

Villa Pura Vida is a new villa on a quiet beachfront street in PlayaCar phase 1.  The villa has a small pool on the street side of the property.  The pool has a shallow end for the kids and sitting area for the adults.  A covered terrace with chaise lounges and dining table ensure there is little reason to head indoors. 

On the other side of the street are a few oceanfront villas.  At the end of the street is access to a quiet neighbourhood beach.

The design, finishing and furnishing of villa Pura Vida is quite plain, but the villa is new, clean and very functional with all of the basics covered. 

An integrated living - dining room is fronted with glass sliders that open up to the terrace and pool.  A full kitchen with breakfast bar is open to the dining room and pool view.  The entire space is bright, cheerful and airy. 

The living room has a couch, chair, TV with satellite, and DVD player.  A round dining room table with 7 chairs and breakfast bar with 4 stools provides a comfortable place to dine.  Or step onto the terrace and enjoy a meal al-fresco around a patio table with 4 chairs.

On the ground floor are 3 bedrooms.  Two of these are identical with 2 Queen beds each, en-suite bathrooms with showers and stunning brick dome 'bodeda' ceilings. 

The other bedroom on the ground floor has a King bed with attached en-suite bathroom with shower.  Like the other 2 bedrooms on this level, they enjoy a pleasant garden view.

Upstairs on the second level is the Master suite.  This large bedroom has attached en-suite bathroom with shower and a large terrace with partial ocean views.

A separate entrance to the terrace allows others to access the terrace and stairs leading up to the rooftop 'mirador'.  This observation deck is a wonderful place to enjoy a sundowner while you take in the views of the ocean and lush vegetation.  From this vantage point you can even see the cruise ships as they sit at port the short way across the water in Cozumel.
