If you are looking to truly escape from it all in a comfortably elegant style, then Villa Yardena could well be the right choice for you.  This fabulous Mexican beachfront vacation rental villa is located along the Mayan Riviera on a quiet, aquamarine Caribbean bay, with 80 feet of private white sand beach, just a short 20 minute drive south of Puerto Aventuras, between Akumal and Tulum.  In this luscious hide-a-way location, you will be a world away from any of life's day to day stress, but close enough to amenities that you will not feel isolated.  Villa Yardena is a fabulous 6000 sq. ft. villa with 4 casitas (little houses) offers luxurious privacy in a wonderfully spacious and tranquil environment.

As you enter the villa you will be taken by the open, airy, feel, and the abundance of space Villa Yardena affords.  From the 30 foot ceilings in the living room, through the easy, open, flow between the oversized kitchen, dining room, & large yet cozy living area, to the 14 foot ceilings in the rest of the home, you cannot help but be impressed with how well this villa works for a large group.  The 5 bedrooms, lavish bathrooms, and 2 spacious self contained guest houses, provide plenty of sleeping options for your group of up to 18.  

Tasteful Mexican tile, generous use of marble, abundant windows, numerous works by local artisans, interesting furnishings, quality wood work, and Spanish design features, all contribute to the decor of this elegantly casual villa.  Add to this a fully equipped kitchen with a cook included in the rental rates, satellite TV, CD/tape player, Jacuzzi tub in the Master suite, cellular telephone, and a computer with a satellite internet connection.  What more could be required to help you relax and enjoy this wonderful villa?

The outdoor spaces are just as plentiful, spacious, and inviting.  Immense balconies off of bedrooms, a large 15' x 36' fresh water swimming pool, secluded intimate sitting areas, hammocks in the shade of a coconut tree, lounge chairs on the beach, and a rooftop observatory all provide a relaxing atmosphere.   Or if you find the energy, there is a ping pong table and 2 kayaks to enjoy the bay.

In the main house there are 3 large, air conditioned, ocean front, bedrooms to choose from.  Each has a gorgeous terrace or balcony with sitting area, and attached bathroom done in Mexican tile and/or marble.  The master suite has a king size bed and en-suite with Jacuzzi tub.  2 other bedrooms facing the garden side of the property are a little smaller but still an adequate size to be very comfortable and equally well appointed.  All beds have pillow top mattresses and quality linens.  The main villa will sleep up to 14 persons.

There are four cute and equally comfortable studio 'casitas' located within the street side garden of the property where additional 12 people can join the group.   These self contained little hide-a-ways offers great privacy, only steps away from the main villa.  2 of the casitas have King beds and 2 casitas have 2 Queen size beds each.  All have private baths.

The attention to detail of this villa is found in all areas including the park like grounds found at both the front and rear of the property.   These common areas offer tranquility, privacy, and special places to gather as a group, spend some intimate time with someone special, or to escape for a little private time alone.  

Soliman bay where Villa Yardena is located, is part of an area known as Tankha.  Along these two bays you will find a number of other vacation villas, a few restaurants, and a couple of dive shops.   Tankha is between Tulum and Akumal, close to many interesting attractions such as the the natural water park at XelHa, dry caves at Aktun Chen, and the Mayan ruins of Tulum & Coba.

Doug/Andra   My many thanks for a great vacation. I wanted to let the rest of the world know just how spectacular your Villa Yardena is.  I was amazed at the home.  Your pictures on the internet do not do it the real justice it deserves.  The home should be described as nothing short of a castle.  It was late July and warm.  Finding the place was not difficult thanks to your directions and we were greeted by Victor and Gabey and our newest friend Manuel who all helped carry luggage and 75 bags of groceries to the kitchen.  The home is amazing and was immaculately clean and ready as promised.  Stepping out the back door for the first time with a drink allowed me to soak in the beautiful pool, palm tree's just 20' away and the hammocks on the groomed beach.  Our chef was Antonio and he was spectacular.  He can really put together some great meals all with a Mexican flare but also considerate of what our family liked.  He was always there in the morning with a warm smile and hard at work putting together breakfasts the kids liked as well as one for the adults.  If your clients can get him some fish either by fishing or Pat @ Pat store in Tulum he can do wonders.  We appreciated the transportation you arranged for the big group from the airport and the driver was waiting for them on arrival and on the day we left.  Locally we saw the Tulum ruins and Xel-Ha which the kids loved.  Our parents in their 70's enjoyed watching all the grand kids play and relax and they commented that it was the most relaxing vacation they have ever had thanks to Antonio and Alfredo who did all the cooking and clean up of dishes.  Security in the area was excelent and Carmen was always present.  We thank you and the staff and will carry these memories with us forever.  Villa Yardena is one magical place. - Brian Vest Aug 2, 2009
